Hey Guys and welcome to Leona PA, A Lidar based 1x map.
Based in north central Pennsylvania, Leona was my biggest mapping project I've ever attempted. Between everything that's gone into it and the struggle with commitment for the map. It's been a major project for me. However, now after 8 months of work, I am more than happy to present to y'all the map I envisioned all those months ago.
The map Features -
Two Dairy Farms
One larger dairy farm running roughly 500/600 head and a smaller tie stall farm running that of only 60/100 head.
Silage Corn - has been added to simulate the increased tonnage from BMR corn and to provide the base game chopped texture.
Added Feed Fill Types - you can now feed wet cake, cracked corn, and ccm to your dairy cattle.
Feed Ration -
Hay - min 10% and up to 75%
Silage - 25% and up to 75%
Straw - 0% - to 30%
Mineral Feed and or Cracked Corn - 0% to 20%
Wet Cake and or CCM - 5% - 20%
1 Sell point For standard Crops along with a milk sell-point
Crop textures by - AW Modding (Corn/Maize), Grass (Calmsden Grass by Oxygen David)
Custom Seasons Geo - (Westby geo, Double Cropping is possible and encouraged.)
Muti Terrain Angle Supported
The main bunkers on the map do not support CCM, to create CCM you will need to place down a Havestor that has been included in the map. I have left this up to player choice however, the smaller farm already support CCM production.
*Warning*
Due to the functionality of FS22, the bunkers have silage that clips through them, to fix this I have included easy dev controls.
For uses, hit f12, and click on the tab that has a box, from there you should see something that states "clear tip area" select the crop type you wish to remove and adjust width accordingly, I use 1/2 meter for best effect.
*Warning*
Mazie Plus is not support - However, you can still use it, the draw back is that you will loose functionality of the new fill types added through the map. no wetcake, no cracked corn.

how do you feed the cows on the top farm?
great map but i have found out that i can not harvest or plow some of the feilds that are by the outer border of the map i have the newest update and i have tried again and its still the same other then that its a really good map to be able to use small to medium equipment

Great map! Thank you! The only issues I've found that havent yet been mentioned is that the animal pens are not showing in the menu and info triggers for the heifer barn, freestall and pasture on the main farm don't work. I was able to fix the info triggers. Let me know what .xml file to modify to add the animal pens.
Grab the latest update, those were fixed from my knowledge in the last patch.
not that many maps out that look r-e-a-l AND and don't consist of super flat monsterfields - so I'm definitely in!
thanks for not making the small farm tiestall (would be great as an in-map placeable) garishly red like so often... just now i'm figuring out how to fill the 'beef'pasture with the red feeder at the small farm - the only animal trigger I've found fills the passage between the fences... I'll give it another try

Love the Map! Great authentic feel for PA farming (my folks live a bit more south)
Couple of comments / questions at first glance -
- There is no starting equipment (or land owned) when starting in New Farmer... as someone who doesn't know the area / map - where is the best place to start?
- If you buy the "unbuyable" land (spending $0) you also get multiple fields. I'm assuming that this is something that should be corrected? (you get fields 1, 2, 4, 13, 14, 15, 53, 54, 55, 56, 33, 34, 35 all for free) Also to note - you can't sell the unbuyable once you buy it, as there are placeables on it.
Happy to do a full test on the map if you're looking for testers. (I did the same for Bloomfield, CA and Bourneheath before ModHub release) Let me know!

Well, it's an awesome map, but it's not 4x. Either way, super awesome and highly detailed.
Due to the height of and terrain of the map, it's actually stretched to be than a 1x, some where's around a 1.5 or 2x if that makes any sense. At least it feels like that XD. A 4x would have killed me, as much as I would love to do one of PA.
That makes sense actually. I love it, it's a great map. I just got a little confused because it said 4x in the description but when I loaded it up it obviously wasn't. Like I said, super awesome map though. Finally a real American map to use smaller equipment on!
Pretty sure it has said 1x in the description and you likely misread it assuming it was 4x. (Fairly confident it said 1x when I downloaded it yesterday before your comment was posted)
if you have all the dem files and everything i'd be willing to take it to a 4x map as i think it would be a great map in 4x or 8x even.
So if we use maize+, and lose the functionality of the wetcake, ccm, and cracked corn from the map, do we still get to keep the maize+ functionality of say ccm at least? Because with those filltypes in the map, one should be able to use the custom animal feed recipe feature of maize+ to re-implement them into the recipe for cattle feed. I think lol, regardless I can't wait to give this map a go, been looking for a smaller map to play on when I don't have as much time on my hands. It looks great!
